BEWARE OF RAWHIDE TOYS
Rawhide
toys can be dangerous to your puppy/dog. We recently had a customer with
a 4 month old pup need emergency surgery to remove a piece of rawhide
that had lodged in his stomach and intestines. NAID's tend to chew off
pieces and swallow them creating the potential for a blockage that could
be fatal if not caught in time. This owner was observant and took action
quickly. Thankfully, due to their actions their puppy will fully
recover.
